Question 1

What is Rating Buddy and how does it help my business?

Accepted Answer

Rating Buddy is a Customer Reputation System for businesses and retail brands. It gives happy customers (3-5 star) ready review tap options (3 on Free, 5 on Premium) to post a 5-star Google review in under 10 seconds, and privately captures negative feedback (1-2 star) so it never reaches Google Maps. The result: more positive reviews, fewer public complaints, and real-time insight into what customers actually think.

Question 2

How is Rating Buddy different from a free Google review QR code?

Accepted Answer

A free Google QR code opens a blank text box that most customers close without typing anything. Studies show 85% of happy customers drop off at this step. Rating Buddy replaces the blank box with instant review tap options (3 on Free, 5 on Premium), cutting that drop-off dramatically. More importantly, free QR codes send every customer directly to Google, including unhappy ones. Rating Buddy catches 1-2 star ratings privately before they become public 1-star rants.

Question 3

Is Rating Buddy safe to use? Will Google penalize my Business Profile?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Rating Buddy is 100% safe and fully compliant with Google's review policies. Every review is written and voluntarily posted by a real, genuine customer using their own personal Google account on their own device. Rating Buddy never uses bots, never auto-posts reviews, and never creates fake ratings. It simply reduces review friction so real customers actually follow through.

Question 4

Which types of businesses benefit the most from Rating Buddy?

Accepted Answer

Rating Buddy works for any business that serves customers in-person or on appointment: restaurants, cafes, clinics, salons, spas, automotive garages, retail stores, pharmacies, gyms, coaching centers, and professional service offices. If customers interact with your brand, Rating Buddy can turn those visits into Google reviews.

Question 5

How does Rating Buddy help increase Google reviews?

Accepted Answer

Rating Buddy removes typing friction for walk-in customers. When customers scan your counter QR code, they get personalized 1-tap review choices containing relevant local search keywords. Customers can copy and post directly to your Google Business Profile in under 10 seconds.

Question 6

How much does Rating Buddy cost and are there multi-month plans?

Accepted Answer

Rating Buddy offers 3 transparent plans: 3 Months Growth (₹1,799, ₹599/mo, ~₹20/day with 28% OFF), 6 Months Pro (₹2,999, ₹499/mo, ~₹16/day with 40% OFF), and 12 Months Annual (₹4,799, lowest rate of ₹399/mo or ~₹13/day with 52% OFF & 4 months free). All plans include unlimited QR scans, 5 review draft choices, loyalty scratch cards, and Google Maps SEO keyword optimization.

Question 7

How long does it take to set up Rating Buddy for my store?

Accepted Answer

Setup takes under 3 minutes. You create your business profile, add your Google review link, and instantly get a printable counter standee with your unique QR code. Place it on your billing counter or table. Customers do everything themselves on their own phones. Your staff does not need to say or do anything differently.

Question 8

Can Rating Buddy help a restaurant or cafe that already has a poor Google rating?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Rating Buddy helps businesses steadily build review velocity. By making the review process effortless for everyday happy customers, steady 5-star reviews gradually outweigh older negative ratings and improve your overall score.
